Quelle Nightmare!

I've just finished knitting my Autumn Rose. I've cut the steek, I've knitted the neckband. I tried it on - it fits and with blocking it will fit better. I've started sewing in all the ends when... I cam to a thread where the end appeared to have become embedded in the threads at the back. Eager to ensure that there were no loose ends I pulled! Not content with it staying in place, I pulled some more and then the end came out... It was then that I realised that I had been pulling the wrong end of the thread and I had pulled out some stitches from a row of knitting. I could have cried!!!!The moral of the story - Never! Never! Pull a thread too hardIt's all sorted out now. I've grafted the stitches back together and am hoping it holds during blocking. Can I tell it's different? Yes, but no one else will
